Graphic Designer, Ecommerce & Website Manager,
Community Events Coordinator, and Admin

Janice was born and raised in O‘ahu and originally joined PDD in 2012 as a front desk admin at their first location in Waipahu. As much as she really enjoyed helping families at the desk, she eventually wanted to focus more on her graphic design career and switched over to become PDD's In-House Graphic Designer. She also manages the PDD website and brand apparel, and handles various tasks in the admin department.

Outside of PDD, Janice is a self-taught freelance graphic designer and digital illustrator. She started off with an interest in traditional art as a child, but later on by the age of 13, discovered her new-found love for the digital art world.

Since 2006, Janice has worked with a wide range of clients across the U.S. from the entertainment and media industries, small businesses and apparel brands, and philanthropy and church organizations. Her local clientele history includes musicians such as Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winners Maryanne Ito and Ben & Maila, clothing brand HE>i, and church organizations Grace Bible Church Honolulu and Calvary Chapel Hilo.

While designing has always been her main focus, she also dreamt of sharing her personal work with the world. Starting in 2008, she displayed her art work in underground art shows as part of the artist collective, GroundUP Pirates. She eventually began hosting art and music shows herself along with a dedicated team of friends and volunteers for philanthropy organization, REVO Oahu. This period of her life really helped her grow as an individual and as an artist, but in 2019, she decided it was time to embark on a new journey and fulfill another dream.

Towards the end of 2020, Janice was inspired to finally pursue a lifelong dream of hers: designing and creating her own stationery. She opened up an online shop where she sells a variety of stationery and small gift items featuring her illustrations.

Janice has always been a dream chaser, even as a child, and believes very passionately that you should always pursue what you truly desire—whether it be in baby steps or grand ones, the things that constantly tug at your heart are always worth the risk. <3
