PDD offers annual scholarships for Dancer of the Year (DOY), Thespian of the Year, and Vocalist of the Year. For our Dance Department, scholarships are awarded to the students who receive the most "Dancer of the Day" (DOD) certificates within a year per age group and genre. DOD certificates are awarded in every class (ages 7+) to a student the instructor believes excelled the most that day.

A "Thespian of the Day" certificate is awarded to a Musical Theatre student every class. The student that receives the most certificates within a year is awarded Thespian of the Year. Vocalist of the Year is chosen by the Vocal Department and is based on a student's growth, attitude and dedication to their craft.
